Family Session: $400
Multi-subject photographic session with professional editing of a minimum of 60 images presented in your private online gallery. Prints and products purchased separately.
Newborn Session: $350
Tiny fingers and toes, freshly wrinkled noses, brand new. How quickly they grow. Capture this precious window in life in the first 10 days. A newborn session typically lasts 2 – 3 hours. A minimum of 60 professionally edited photographs to be presented in your private online gallery. Prints and products to be purchased separately.
Note: Newborn sessions should be ‘tentatively’ scheduled prior to due date and confirmed when you arrive home with your new little one. Specialty products: birth announcements, “brag books”, wallet size photos available. Please inquire about pricing.
The First Year : $1200
Miles of growing and changes. Document each growth spurt. This package covers 3 sessions: a newborn session (in the first 10 days), 6 months and a 1 year session. A 50-page coffee table book of professionally edited photographs highlighting your little ones “firsts”.
Session fee is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your date and is non-refundable. I will apply the session fee towards a future session should you need to cancel within 48 hours of appointment.

Digital Collection: $350
Includes 60 – 80 professionally edited digital images from your session on a disk and the rights to print your own photos.

What is your style?
My style is photojournalistic or lifestyle. Serene. Fun. Laughing. Mischievous. Even some tears: a photograph should capture, voice, reflect, and tell who the person is, the adventure of that day.
What is a session like?
Children’s Session:
Our photo session will be just like a play-date, the camera just another friend along to make the memory with us. I simply participate in the tea party, dress ups, tag, swinging, hiking, mud pie making, finger painting … And in the end, with no stress, no tears or bribing, only fun and adventure, you will have a collection of beautiful photographs of your little one to select from.
Teen and Senior Session:
We will discuss different locations and scenes to best reflect your individual personality, which may mean we go to a few different spots.
Be sure to express to me what you would like from your photographs.
I would also suggest 2 – 4 different clothing options to give yourself a variety of formal and casual looks.
When and where?
We will decide on a time and location together. Your home. A park. On a hike. Wherever you are most comfortable. There are some great local locations I can suggest, if you don’t have a place in mind.
The best time for a photo shoot varies by the season, but generally morning or later afternoon when the sun is soft.
What should we wear?
Simple: generally stick to solids. Bold colors are wonderful.
Classic: if your child is a jeans and t-shirt kid. That’s what he/she should wear.
Timeless: nothing with cartoon characters or large insignia on it. Generally, I would advise against everyone matching. That will date the photograph and hide the individual personalities.
Personality: if you have a little cowboy, bring his hat. If you have a little ballerina, bring a tutu. If you have an athlete, bring the mitt, the soccer ball, the bat, the racket…
What happens after our session?
I will contact you within 2 weeks with the password for your private online gallery of a minimum of 60 professionally edited photos, which will remain online for 1 week. After you have reviewed your proofs, we will walk through the ordering process together.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I currently accept cash and personal check made out to Kathleen LaRiviere.
How soon will I receive my portraits?
You will receive your portraits within 3-4 weeks of placing your order. Specialty items may require extra time.
